Account & Data Deletion

No Accounts Required
Tempo currently does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your email address, name, phone number, or any other personal identifier. There is no required login, no required password, and no user profile stored on our servers. If optional account features are introduced later, this page will be updated with account-specific deletion steps.
Where Your Data Lives
All data created while using Tempo — including your saved workout routines, timer settings, sound preferences, and theme choice — is stored locally on your device only. We do not have servers that store your workout data, and we cannot access your information remotely.
How to Delete All Data
Because everything is stored locally, you can permanently delete all your Tempo data using any of the following methods:
- Uninstall the app — Removing Tempo from your device will delete all associated app data.
- Clear app storage— On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Tempo > Storage > Clear Storage. On iOS, uninstall and reinstall the app.
- Delete individual routines — Open Tempo, go to Saved Routines, and delete any routines you no longer want.
Device Backups
If your device is configured to back up app data to a cloud service (such as iCloud on iOS or Google Drive on Android), your Tempo data may be included in those backups. Deleting the app from your device will not automatically remove data from existing backups. You must manage and delete backup data separately through your device or cloud provider settings.
What Data Is Not Stored
To be clear, Tempo does not store or process any of the following, and therefore none of it needs to be deleted:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
- Health or biometric data
- Location history
- Workout history or performance logs
- Payment information
